PYPR Platform Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, registering for, or using the PYPR platform (the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”).
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Platform.
2. Nature of the Platform
PYPR is a technology platform that connects pet owners with independent service providers and dog-friendly businesses.
PYPR is not a pet service provider.
PYPR does not provide dog walking, boarding, sitting, grooming, training, veterinary care, transportation, or any other pet-related services.
All services are offered and performed solely by independent third parties.
PYPR does not supervise, direct, control, manage, or endorse any service provider.
3. No Agency Relationship
Nothing in these Terms creates any partnership, joint venture, agency, franchise, employment, or fiduciary relationship between PYPR and any user or service provider.
PYPR acts solely as a neutral technology intermediary.
4. Independent Contractors
All service providers and businesses listed on the Platform are independent contractors.
PYPR does not:
• employ service providers
• control how services are performed
• set provider pricing
• guarantee certifications or licenses unless explicitly stated
• conduct background checks unless explicitly stated
• supervise services
Service providers are solely responsible for the services they offer and perform.
5. No Responsibility for Services
You acknowledge and agree that:
• All services are arranged directly between users.
• PYPR is not responsible for acts, omissions, negligence, misconduct, injury, pet injury, pet illness, property damage, theft, cancellations, disputes, or service failures.
• Any agreement formed is solely between the pet owner and the service provider.
PYPR has no duty to supervise, monitor, investigate, screen, or verify users unless explicitly stated.
You assume all risks associated with meeting, communicating, or transacting with other users, including in-person interactions.
All disputes must be resolved directly between the parties involved.
6. Third-Party Listings & Seeded Data
Some business listings, parks, locations, or service information displayed on PYPR may be sourced from publicly available information or third-party data providers.
PYPR does not guarantee that:
• Listings are accurate, complete, or current
• Businesses are actively operating
• Locations remain dog-friendly
• Hours of operation are correct
• Contact information is accurate
Listings may contain outdated, incomplete, or incorrect information.
Users are responsible for independently verifying all information before engaging with any business or service provider.
PYPR is not liable for inaccuracies, omissions, or changes made by third parties.
7. Location Data Disclaimer
Location information displayed on the Platform may be approximate, generalized, or intentionally modified for privacy and safety purposes.
PYPR does not guarantee precise geographic accuracy of any location data displayed within the Platform.
Users are responsible for confirming exact locations directly with service providers before any in-person interaction.
8. Off-Platform Communication & Personal Information
Users may choose to share contact information directly with one another. However:
• PYPR does not require, request, or encourage users to publicly share personal phone numbers, home addresses, private schedules, payment details, or other sensitive information.
• PYPR strongly discourages users from publicly posting personal information within listings, profiles, descriptions, messages, or other content areas of the Platform.
• Users are solely responsible for any information they choose to disclose.
• PYPR assumes no responsibility for monitoring or removing such information unless required by law.
• PYPR does not monitor, control, verify, or guarantee the safety of off-platform communications.
PYPR is not responsible or liable for any harm, fraud, identity misuse, harassment, theft, property damage, personal injury, pet injury, or other damages arising from:
• Disclosure of personal information
• Off-platform communication
• In-person meetings between users
• Arrangements made outside the Platform
All users assume full responsibility and risk when sharing personal information or conducting interactions outside the Platform.
9. Payments & Third-Party Processors
Some providers may connect third-party payment processors (including Square) for scheduling and payment processing.
PYPR:
• Does not process payments
• Does not hold funds
• Is not a payment processor
• Is not responsible for payment disputes
• Is not responsible for chargebacks or refunds
All financial transactions occur directly between users and the applicable payment processor.
Payment disputes must be resolved between the parties and/or the payment processor.
10. Subscriptions
PYPR may offer optional auto-renewable subscriptions.
Subscription pricing, billing terms, renewal conditions, and cancellation policies are disclosed within the app and applicable app marketplace listings.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled prior to the renewal date.
Users may manage subscriptions through their respective app marketplace accounts.
11. User Accounts
You are responsible for:
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activity under your account
• Providing accurate and truthful information
PYPR is not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from your failure to safeguard your credentials.
12. User Conduct
You agree not to:
• Post false or misleading information
• Impersonate another person or business
• Engage in unlawful activity
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Upload illegal, harmful, or infringing content
PYPR reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts or remove content at any time, with or without notice.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.”
PYPR makes no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:
• Merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Reliability or availability
• Accuracy of listings
• Safety of services
PYPR does not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
PYPR, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or emotional damages.
This includes damages related to:
• Personal injury
• Pet injury
• Property damage
• Financial loss
• Service disputes
• Payment issues
PYPR’s total aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of:
(a) $100 CAD
or
(b) The amount paid to PYPR in the previous 12 months
This limitation applies to all claims, including negligence, tort, contract, statutory, or otherwise, even if PYPR has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PYPR, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, legal fees, and expenses arising from:
• Your use of the Platform
• Services provided or received
• Disputes between users
• Your violation of these Terms
16. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, branding, content, and software associated with PYPR remain the exclusive property of PYPR.
Users may not reproduce, distribute, or exploit Platform content without written permission.
17. Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to use PYPR.
By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
18. Arbitration & Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration conducted in Alberta, except where prohibited by applicable law.
You waive the right to participate in class actions.
19. Modifications
PYPR may update these Terms at any time.
Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
20. Survival
Sections relating to liability, indemnification, arbitration, intellectual property, and governing law survive termination of these Terms.
